Who is Conducting the Study?
The DC Hospital Association wants to understand why so many CNAs did not renew their DC registration, and what would help. They hired an independent company, Social Lens Research, to conduct the survey. Your answers go to Social Lens Research, not to the government.
Why Did I Get This Invitation?
Records show that you once held a CNA registration in DC and did not renew it. Your experience is what this study is about. If you’re not sure the survey is meant for you, the first few questions will help you out.
Are My Answers Really Private?
Yes. Only the research company, Social Lens Research, sees your individual answers. The government, the Board of Nursing, and your employer do not. Results are reported only as group totals. For example, we might report that many CNAs said the fee was too high. We never report answers in a way that points to you.
Will Participating Affect My CNA Registration or My Job?
No. This is research, not a review of your record. Answering, or not answering, has no effect on your current or past CNA registration, or any future reactivation. There are no right or wrong answers. We want to know about your unique experience.
What is the Voice Question?
One question asks you to record a short voice answer, just a few sentences in your own words about your renewal. It helps us confirm we are hearing from real CNAs. If you cannot record, or would rather not, you can type your answer instead.
How Long Does the Survey Take and Can I Use My Phone?
The survey will take about 12 to 15 minutes, and yes, it is built for your phone. You can stop and come back if you need to.
What Do I Get for Participating?
